Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) is an internationally recognised postgraduate qualification in clinical radiology awarded by the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK. It evaluates a doctor’s imaging expertise, reporting accuracy, clinical judgement, and professional standards essential for advanced radiology practice.
FRCR Part 1 assesses a doctor’s understanding of core physics, anatomy, and fundamental principles of clinical radiology.
Evaluates advanced radiological knowledge across multiple imaging modalities and clinical subspecialties.
Tests practical reporting skills, rapid image interpretation, communication, and clinical decision-making in real-world radiology scenarios.
