An MBBS first rank holder and winner of many quiz competitions; Dr Nikhita 8 Vadvadgi is an aggressive learner and a versatile OB OVN specialist with deep knowledge and adequate experience in clinical surgeries. She completed MBBS from Mandya institute of Medical Sciences and Research in 2014. She completed PG in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MS OBG) from PESIMSR, Kuppam In 2017 and a year later she finished Diplomate of the National Board in (DNB-OBO).

She finished the Fellowship in Hysterolaparoscopy from AV Hospital, Bangalore in 2019 and the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists-MRCOG in 2021.

Her academic achievements include first place in MBBS (Part 1) and third place in MBBS (Part 2), and distinction in Otorhinolaryngology. She was awarded best outgoing student in General Surgery by the Department of General Surgery, MIMS, Mandya.

Dr Nikhita started her professional career as a Senior Resident in the OBG Department at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. Her duties include taking theory classes and clinical for undergraduates and postgraduates. She later joined as a Fellow in Hysterolaparoscopic surgeries in AV Hospital, Bangalore in 2019 before moving to Sagar Chandramma Hospital where she is currently serving as a junior consultant.

Her research experience includes studies on Training Frontline Health Workers on prevention, early recognition, treatment/transfer on postpartum hemorrhage using mama Natalie and its outcome. She is an expert in all gynecological surgeries including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies.

She has performed numerous vaginal deliveries, instrumental vaginal deliveries, caesarean sections, and MTPs both medical and surgical. Her areas of expertise in gynecology includes abdominal hysterectomies, vaginal hysterectomies with the site specific repair of fascial defects, Laparoscopy -TLH diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy, laparoscopic cystectomies, Hysteroscopy- performed numerable diagnostic hysteroscopy, operative hysteroscopy, infertility-managing cases of ovulation induction & IUI and Basic ultrasound-follicular study, diagnosis of early pregnancy, and growth scans.
